We are a good school. We had an Ofsted Inspection on 5th & 6th February 2019. Here are some of the comments from Ofsted:
“Staff know their pupils very well…..pupils make good and sometimes exceptional progress…..the school’s curriculum is varied, interesting and rooted in a set of shared values…..pupils are kind, polite and aware of the needs of others …..the school is well led”.

Department for Education
Many Parents are keen to see how we are performing in relation to other schools.
The School Performance Tables are published annually for primary schools by the DfE, and give details of the school’s results at KS2, and of how they compare to schools nationally. They also provide other statistics which help characterise the school, such as the percentage of children with special needs or who have free school meals, and the attendance levels. They suppress these data for groups of children numbering five or fewer, so the results for Hamsterley Primary School are not usually shown in the performance tables.
The official performance tables can be accessed on the School Performance Website.
