Our children continuing their learning if they are self-isolating or if we are forced into another lockdown is imperative. Class teachers are posting teaching and learning materials on the website, similar to the work being carried out in the classroom, for any children self-isolating to continue their learning at home – a link to the remote learning page for each class can be found on the class pages.
On the weekend of 8th – 10th May, we would have been celebrating the 75th anniversary of VE Day.
We can no longer join in a group celebration, but we can still commemorate the day at home.
“Mr T does History” has produced a great webpage with facts and projects for both KS1 and Ks2 children.
The BBC has materials for producing your own bunting. If you would like to make some bunting at home, and take a photo of it, we can add display those on our website.
(They also have a page where they are asking you to upload a photo of you saluting Captain Tom for presentation on his birthday. If you want to join in that, you will need to upload the photo today, as his birthday is tomorrow.)
